KA1 course: Gain Time: Create Emotional Class - Roma (ITALY)
The course aims to export techniques and methodologies in order to prevent the dropout phenomenon from school through the implementation of creative classrooms, the inclusion of educational games in traditional curriculum and of the Flipped methodology. The course will focus on:
- The approaches and methods to contrast the dropout phenomenon from school
- Educational games
- Flipped classroom
- Autobiographical method
WHO CAN APLLY?
School staff, teachers, trainers and administrative;
Vet, Adult Education and Higher education staff;
Guidance counselors;
Staff working in local, national and regional authorities;
Staff involved in the training system.
METHODOLOGY
The course is born from the exploitation of the Project: Master model to gain time in your classroom – “Gain time”, that is a KA2 strategic partnership approved in 2014 from the Spanish National Agency, in which ERIFO was partner. Workshop and laboratories will be the key of the training course.
COURSE'S PROGRAMME
DAY 1
15:00 – 17:00 Welcome drink with presentation of the participants and organizations (icebreaker game)
17:00 – 19:00 Presentation of the methodology and objectives with learning need analysis
DAY 2
09:00 – 10:00 Introduction to the course: the source of the course’s know-how.
10:00 - 13:00 Creativity and leadership to contrast the school failure
13:00 – 14:00 Lunch break
From 14:00 Flipped workshops- optional session
DAY 3
09:00 – 11:00 The approaches and methods to contrast the dropout phenomenon from school: educational games, flipped classroom, and autobiographical method
