About LINQ 2019

The motto of LINQ 2019 is: “Innovative School Education for Sustainable Development

The international LINQ 2019 Conference invites you to come to the Niekée school in Roermond, one of the most innovative schools in the Netherlands and worldwide! Learn from leading researchers, school teachers and headmasters about their award-winning strategies and new designs for learning designs and environments. And join the debate to share your experiences and visions for a better school education.

How does school education look like in 2019? One teacher is responsible for one class within an old-fashioned classroom teaching a specific subject in lessons of 45 minutes… Sounds familiar to your school time? Well, it is the same setting like 200 years ago. The world and societies are changing rapidly: How can schools take up to facilitate children building their relevant competences and becoming responsible citizens? We want to find answers together with you at the LINQ 2019!

A plenary session in the morning (in English) and parallel sessions in the afternoon (in Dutch and English) ending with a “borrel”, the typical Dutch reception.

Overall, LINQ 2019 starts with the Registration at 09:30am and finishes with the Reception at 17:00pm (open end).
