HLT.Digital Summit: Humanising The Coursebook
Whatever our beliefs about putting the student front and centre of the learning experience, about the value of emergent language and about the importance of customising learning resources to meet the needs of the people in the room, it remains the case that most teachers in most teaching institutions are obliged to work with coursebooks.
In a series of short talks and a closing panel discussion, today’s speakers will each suggest ways in which teachers can form effective partnerships with their coursebooks, taking advantage of the consistency, security and resources that they offer while at the same time working creatively to resist their demotivating repetitiveness and their implicit assumptions about the learner.
Join us in an engaging summit fulll of insights and strategies by renowned ELT teachers. More information with registration form can be found on the project website.
