Trainings for trainers working at Public Education Centers of MoNE was completed in 7 pilot provinces (Eskişehir, Malatya, Bursa Ordu, Hatay, Manisa, , Mardin) between the dates 20 February 2018 and 4 May 2018. The trainings were conducted in the scope of European Agenda for Adult Learning -4 Project which is implemented by Directorate-General for Lifelong Learning of MoNE and financed by EU, aiming to improve the basic skills of adults, especially ex-convicts and supervised freedom convicts, and raise awareness for their employability, besides setting up an institutional cooperation in line with the aim.
Researches done both in European countries and Turkey, communication, digital literacy, teamwork, Cooperation are the skills that need to be acquired by adults in the 21st century. Therefore, in order to support the trainers of Public Education Centers who are guiding adults to gain and update their skills on the below-mentioned topics, 2 day-long training program was organized.
Training of Trainers program includes the following topics;
- Communication with adults in the learning environments
- Usage of digital technology in the learning environment
- Learning to learn
- Institutional cooperation
In total, 350 participants including managers of Public Education Centers, trainers, stakeholders and academicians participated in the trainings, held in 7 pilot provinces. All participant received a Participation Certificate at the end of the trainers.
