This conference is jointly organized by the European Parliament and the Labour Market Observatory. It will focus on the topic of apprenticeship and mobility of apprentices.

The aim of the event will be to see how the participation of students and recent graduates of the Vocational education and training (VET) systems in apprenticeships abroad can be further facilitated and supported.

Former apprentices will share with the public their experience and the main benefits of placements abroad, both for students and recent VET graduates. The European Commission, CEDEFOP and managers of mobility networks will present the advantages and the limitations of the current instruments and networks, such as the Erasmus+ programme, the European Alliance for Apprenticeships, EuroApprenticeship.
