Adult learning and education enable individuals and social groups to gain power over their environment and destiny. Participation in adult education is a factor for empowerment and can strengthen individuals, equipping them with new tools and opportunities, increasing their self-confidence and their capacity to take control of their destinies.

This is just a hint of what you can find on the upcoming call for the 2024 EPALE Community Stories!

The new call for stories will be launched during this episode of the EPALE Newscast, with a special guest from the previous Community Stories initiatives: Divina Frau-Meigs.

Divina is a professor of media and information and communications technology sociology at the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle, France. She is a passionate EPALE community member, and she has taken part in many EPALE initiatives in recent years.
