Emotional Intelligence

Emotional Intelligence (EI) is vital for mental health which is defined by the World Health Organisation (WHO) as “a state of well-being in which every individual realizes his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community”.
EI is a greater predictor of success in almost every field of work than either prior work experience or standard IQ score. The course gives teachers the opportunity to enhance their understanding of emotional intelligence and how to apply that understanding in a teaching role in informal environment to help others to manage change and deal with stress.
