KPMG organizes a seminar on “An Effective Internal Audit Department (IAD), Fraud Detection & Prevention Techniques”.  This practical course will take place on 14 March 2017 at our premises in Nicosia.

The objective of the initial two sections of the seminar is to assist the participants in understanding the needs and practices that are required for an effective and well set up internal audit department, based on the internal standards and best practices of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). Upon completion of these sections, participants will be able to create an efficient IAD and satisfy the criteria of a possible quality review from an IIA quality reviewer. The purpose of the remaining sections of the seminar is to assist participants in understanding the needs and practices that are required to install detection and prevention internal controls. Practical examples will be provided reinforcing the educational benefits of this pragmatic seminar.

The seminar will be delivered in English.  The cost per participant is €294 + VAT. Net Investment after the HRDA’s subsidy (€110,50) for all eligible participants is €239,36 (incl. V.A.T.).

For more than two (3+) participants from the same company a 10% discount is available on the total cost, before VAT and HRDA subsidy; for more than four (5+) participants from the same company a 20% discount is available on the total cost, before VAT and HRDA subsidy.  There is a 10% Early Bird discount for each participant who enrolls in this training course by 03/03/2017. Participants should calculate this discount after the discounted fee provided on 3+ / 5+ participants from the same company but before the VAT and HRDA subsidy. 

This seminar may contribute to Continuing Professional Development requirements.  At the end of the seminar participants will be given a certificate of attendance confirming the total number of training hours.
