Ecological keychains help seniors learn
YumeTech Sp. z o.o. proudly presented its innovative approach to ecological design: dissemination materials for the project DigIN—Empower Adult Educators to Support Digital Social Inclusion. These gadgets impress not only with their functionality but also with a pro-ecological approach to product design and use.
The keychains are made of polylactic acid, a plant-based bioplastic that is fully compostable. This biodegradable material, prepared from natural raw materials like corn or sugar cane, perfectly fits into the assumptions of sustainable development. Thanks to 3D printing technology, innovative design and environmental care were possible.
Two variants for different needs:
- A practical phone stand provides ergonomic support while using a smartphone, thus minimising neck and back pain risk.
- Elegant key chain with an embossed project logotype-minimalistic, yet full of style.
Those ecological gadgets played an important role in promotional activities within the framework of project events, such as TPM 4 in Adana, the Europreneurship & Sustainability conference in Krakow, and the Multiplier Event in Radom. The participants managed not only to learn about the project's assumptions but also to get keychains that symbolize the idea of digital inclusion in the spirit of caring for the planet.
Adapting gadgets to the needs of adults over 50 is a significant step in creating products that are not only functional but also user-friendly and meet the conditions of being ecological. This age group's most prominent problems concern ergonomics and comfort when using mobile devices. Using a phone for extended periods without appropriate support may lead to issues like neck, back, or wrist pain. Therefore, the ergonomic form of this keychain stand makes using devices more manageable and helps support good posture habits.
Technology, ecology and inclusion - all in one gadget! 🌱
