The E3D+VET project funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ programme, Key Action 2 (Strategic Partnerships for Innovation and Exchange of Good Practices) has made  possible to experiment with 3D printing technology within school education in one of the professional institutes (IISS Pio La Torre) of the Palermo area.
On November 29th, the pilot phase of the E3D+VET project took place at the "ISS Pio la Torre" in Palermo (PA), involving numerous students and teachers of different subjects in exclusive testing of all the materials produced during the implementation of the project.
E3D+VET is a project involving six partners from different European countries: CEIPES (Italy), CETEM (Spain), STP (Slovenia), Pristálica (Spain), KIT (Germany) and SEMKA (Germany).
The main purpose of the project is to train teachers by focusing on the acquisition of CAD modeling and 3D printing skills, including them in traditional teaching. The use of this technology in secondary schools will also improve students’ transversal educational skills.
To Know more about it let whatch the video regarding the feedback from Italian teachers received during the pilot phase!
