DiGi YOUTH 2.0:Opening New Pathways for Digital Youth Work

In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, youth work is undergoing a profound transformation to meet the changing needs of young people. Two key concepts shaping this evolution are digital youth work and the digitalization of youth work. While interconnected, these approaches represent distinct strategies for integrating technology into youth services—one focusing on digital tools and competencies, the other on reimagining youth work itself in a digital-first world.
DiGi YOUTH 2.0: Empowering Youth Workers for the Digital Era
With this vision in mind, the DiGi YOUTH 2.0 project was designed to equip youth workers and organizations with the necessary skills, knowledge, and tools to navigate and thrive in the digital landscape. Over the course of the project, we focused on developing innovative, interactive, and engaging digital methodologies to enhance non-formal learning, increase youth participation, and amplify the visibility of impactful youth work across Europe.
As we close this chapter, we celebrate the milestones we have achieved and the resources we leave behind for future generations of youth workers.

A Lasting Impact
As the DiGi YOUTH 2.0 project comes to an end, its impact does not. The tools, frameworks, and insights developed will continue to shape the future of digital youth work, providing practical solutions for youth organizations, policymakers, and educators.
This is not a conclusion—it is a stepping stone toward a more digitally inclusive, engaging, and empowering youth sector. The resources we have built will remain accessible, ensuring that youth workers and organizations continue to innovate, adapt, and lead in the digital era.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this journey. The future of digital youth work is bright, and together, we have paved the way for its continued evolution.
