DESIRE - Digital Education for Social Innovation Reframed Entrepreneurship

The DESIRE is an Erasmus+ Project (2019-1-BG1-KA201-628396) in the School sector. The project is implemented by the Rusenska Targovsko Industrialna Kamara in Bulgaria with the cooperation of the Eurocrea Merchant SRL in Italy, Emphasys Centre in Cyprus, Babele Create Together SRL in Romania, First Private School Leonardo da Vinci Ltd in Bulgaria, Institut Gabriel Ferrrater i Soler and Associacio Programes Educatius Open Europe in Spain and IDEC in Greece.

The European project "DESIRE: Digital Education for Social Innovation Reframed Entrepreneurship" focuses on social entrepreneurship for students.

This project aims to develop social entrepreneurship sense in students from social entrepreneurship studies. The idea of the project is to create training for teachers, to give them the opportunity to give lessons to their students on how to become social entrepreneurs in the future!

Emphasys Centre is proud to participate in ENTRE4ALL programme along with the rest of the European Organisations. Emphasys Centre began operating in 1998 and currently operates as an «ICT Educational and Vocational Centre as well as a European Research Centre. The organisation closely cooperates with various organisations in Europe for the implementation of EU projects. Emphasys Centre is approved by the Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture as an Educational and Vocational Centre specialising in the field of ICT.

The Multiplier event by the Cypriot partner, Emphasys Centre, for the DESIRE project was organised in Larnaca, Cyprus, on the 5th of April March 2022. The event took place at the Pascal English School Larnaca, a well-known private school which offers high quality education to students of all ages (from primary to secondary school).

In the event participated mainly soon-to-be high school graduates who are about to start their academic studies or start their professional life. Their teachers also attended the event as well as the headmistress of the school who shared their interest in the DESIRE project and its results.
