CREDO Rethink. Create and Do Development of motivating CREDO learning approaches - and locations. Lifelong learning, practicing skills to shape your future.
Project content CREDO:
Lifelong learning promoting democratic understanding, competences to deal with disinformation
Digital skills for the labour market
CREDO project objectives:
The CREDO project aims to identify what it takes to use new didactics, revitalised and updated content and methods together with socio-educational work to design third learning spaces in such a way as to sustainably promote a willingness to engage in lifelong learning and develop a better understanding of European democracy.
CREDO consists of six project phases in which models for CREDO learning spaces are conceived and developed in close exchange, online and in presence, which are then tested in practice, evaluated and finally presented to a wider public in multiplier events.
The project partners will jointly develop and test the design of experimental CREDO learning approaches in order to explore their application for vocational and adult education.
In order to sustainably strengthen people for the demands of the labour market, it is not only technical education and training that is required, but above all lively "soft skills" and "future competencies".
Teaching these skills requires learning approaches that are more than just a physical meeting place or a digital space.
The term "learning space" is to be redefined based on Ray Oldenburg's definition of "the third place".
CREDO learning approaches as new third places create opportunities for interaction, participation and qualification.
CREDO target groups:
The target groups addressed by the project are teachers and learners.
Both target groups must be involved in the development of CREDO approaches.

To use and activate and produce for contents that can be used on smartphones. Especially in the learning of languages or jobskills.
To understand smartphones not just as gadgets but also as an ubiquitous tool for "blended" learning activities.
to understand that their clients are used to use them, and that it is better to engage them via this medium insted of loosing them because of factors like not reaching class because of taffic problems, not having a caomputer at home and diverse other hindrances.
Same to let clients use them as an activating tool to create on own content in which they can use them fo own learning content.
