CORECOLES: Educating for Resilience in Schools

Corecoles is a project co-financed by the European Commission and carried out in four countries by five organizations (Animacción, Educo, Gioli, Bring Hope, and Elan Interculturel) dedicated to non-formal education, artistic mediation, intercultural psychology, and educational neuroscience. The overall goal of the Corecoles project is to create teaching materials for teachers of children aged 6 to 12 living in situations of social vulnerability, in order to develop their abilities to adapt and rebuild individually and collectively when facing crisis situations.

Our objectives

  • Strengthen collective resilience in schools and their communities.

  • Support schools in integrating practices that help them face, adapt to, and rebuild after crisis situations.

  • Foster digital skills in both students and educators.

  • Support teachers, school leaders, and education professionals with innovative and accessible pedagogical resources.

  • Promote inclusion and diversity in education, in line with the horizontal priorities of the Erasmus+ programme.
