Change4Good: A Revolution in Corporate Culture for Collective Wellbeing

Welcome to the universe of Change4Good, a project funded by Erasmus+ to transform small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), making their economic objectives harmonious with the well-being of employees and the social and environmental objectives of the territory. This initiative is the key to preserving the environmental, social and human heritage for present and future generations, improving the well-being of employees.
The pandemic highlighted the negative impact on SMEs, requiring a restructuring of the business approach. The data shows that Millennials, influenced by unsatisfactory working conditions, have left work in 20% of cases in the last year. The lack of CSR strategies and employee welfare is one of the main causes of this challenge.
The project addresses three of Europe’s most pressing societal challenges: environment, demographic change and well-being, and social inclusion. At a time when the role of companies in society is changing, the adoption of CSR and employee welfare strategies is crucial for a sustainable business approach.
Change4Good aims to equip owners and managers of SMEs with the necessary skills to become promoters of a new business paradigm, based on the integration of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the welfare of employees.
Change4Good’s priority is:
1. Raising Interest and Awareness: Informing on the multiple ways in which companies, through CSR and employee welfare measures, can improve the well-being of their employees, foster social inclusion, preserving the environment while achieving economic objectives.
2. Enhancing Managers' Skills: Strengthening the skills of SME managers and owners in developing tailored CSR strategies and employee welfare through an informal and flexible training programme.
The results of the project:
- Implementation of an awareness campaign on the importance of the transition to a corporate paradigm based on CSR and employee welfare.
- Running a training program to equip managers and employers with the right tools to design and implement CSR policies and wellness plans for their companies.
- Implementation of a dissemination campaign to increase public awareness of the importance of adapting corporate culture to the changing needs of society.
The Path of Change4Good:
Currently, the project is conducting an online Training Programme directed to managers and CEOs, to address the needs of employees through preliminary wellness plans.
