Call for Papers now open for SCUTREA's 2016 Conference, 'Adult Education in Austere Times'

Language: EN

The calls for Paper are now open for the SCUTREA Conference 2016, ‘Adult Education in Austere Times’, which is being organised in collaboration with the Vaughan Centre for Lifelong Learning, University of Leicester. The conference will take place at the University of Leicester's College Court Conference Centre from Tuesday 5th until Thursday 7th July 2016.

SCUTREA was established in 1971 as a network of adult educators involved in researching and teaching adults. The SCUTREA Conference provides a platform for researchers and professionals who engage with the education of adults and lifelong learning to address key areas of national and international concern.

The conference theme – ‘Adult Education in Austere Times’ will also reach out to those researchers and practitioners whose work may not be primarily focused on adults and lifelong learning but who have developed a keen interest in this area.

You can view the conference web site via the following link, where you can download the call and information on bursaries: SCUTREA 2016 Call. The deadline for the submission of abstracts is 15th January 2016.
