Support of the legal literacy has great benefits in the long run for society and competitiveness in the labour market. Acquired legal knowledge of potential entrepreneurs and employees is a prerequisite for growth and productivity and help to increase the chances for better employability. For this reason, two educational institutions and two educational companies from four countries are together cooperating to create an online platform that will provide young people with a basic legal literacy by a new and interactive way.
BRIGHT @ EU is a two-year project co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus + program. The aim of project partners from the Czech Republic, Spain, Germany and Cyprus is to design and implement the online educational platform BRIGHT @ EU available at www.brightlms.eu. A modern and interactive platform should be a new didactic tool for young adults to learn about legal issues. The target groups are mainly young people who are planning to work or study abroad or start their business abroad. Furthermore, also the universities and secondary schools, where legal knowledge is the part of curriculum.
Currently, the beta version of the online platform is already filled with study texts, quizzes, test questions and practical examples. Online pilot testing is realizing at this time and its evaluation will be considered in the final form of the platform. Potential candidates can be involved in the pilot testing by registering on www.brightlms.eu, then they have the opportunity to go through the whole online platform and evaluate their suggestions through online questionnaire published on the website www.bright-eu.eu.
