ASIDE - International workshop, coordination meeting and final conference

Erasmus+ ASIDE project presents its results at an International Workshop

The ASIDE consortium meeting has been a critical opportunity for the celebration of the International

Workshop of the project, in which the cases on the digital need of social services of each country participating

in the project (Poland, Turkey, Spain and Czech Republic) have been presented.

This workshop was held online on 2 July and brought together more than 30 participants.

The introduction of the presentation of the results in the partner countries of the project has been carried out by Luis Ochoa Siguencia and Javier Sánchez. In addition, representatives of each country that forms the consortium of the project have presented the particular cases of their countries in terms of social inclusion. Accordingly, the cases of Poland, Turkey, Czech Republic and Spain were presented.

Finally, the workshop concluded with a debate on the topics previously presented and linked to the growing need for digitalization skills, Internet security, etc.

 

ASIDE project held its transnational meeting in Castelló with the FUE-UJI as a partner.

The European and International Projects Office of the FUE-UJI (EuroFUE-UJI) has hosted the transnational meeting between the partners of the Erasmus+ ASIDE project, which took place in Castelló on 1 and 2 July 2021. The representatives from each of the entities participating in the project attended the consortium meeting. Fundacja Instytutu Badań i Innowacji w Edukacji (Poland) as project coordinator, the Public Education Centre Saricam (Turkey) and the Adult Education Centre ITC International TEFL (Czech Republic) as partners, as well as the FUE-UJI as partner and organizer of the event.

The meeting between the partners in Castelló focused on balancing the results developed so far in the framework of this project on e-Inclusion and on establishing and defining the actions for the following activities of the project.

The activities focused on management, dissemination and quality control of the results of the ASIDE project were also evaluated. Deputy Vice-Rector Eva CamachoVice-Rectorate for Internationalization and Cooperation of the Universitat Jaume I of Castelló (UJI) participated in the meeting. She talked with the partners of the different countries about the internationalization and mobility actions of the UJI and the possibilities of international cooperation and collaboration between the partners of the project and the University.

 

The final conference

The conference was part of the dissemination activities within the scope of “ADULT SOCIAL INCLUSION IN A DIGITAL ENVIRONMENT” Strategic Partnerships for Adult Education Cooperation for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices.

Within the conference framework, the SHEM team presented the ASIDE Project and its results, publications. The consortium partners presented their study on Digital Competencies for Social Inclusion, and the conference allowed the exchange of good practices in Adult Digital Social Inclusion.

ASIDE Training Course: PbWorks for Adult Social Inclusion in a Digital Environment was conducted.

The attendees to the conference were researchers, academic staff, managers and educators.

About 50 professionals from the field of Adult Education were present at the conference.

ASIDE Project publications were delivered to the participants. In the virtual room [Google Meet], about 30 people worked in non-formal adult education Institutions from different organizations.

All attendees of the conference will receive A copy of ASIDE Project publications.

Participants interested in the project will have access to all materials on the ASIDE webpage. ASIDE Project publications are published on ResearchGateZenodo and disseminated online on different social media platforms.
