Adults learn how to manage their emotions.

Nowadays we are constantly faced with different types of emotional distress and many times we do not even realise the extent to which it affects us, be it in a personal, social or professional contexts. Emotional education is mainly lacking in the formal educational systems and the topic itself is greatly overlooked besides its great importance for a proper development of an individual, and, thus, the whole society. Moreover, Europe has been experiencing an increasing cultural diversity ultimately and acquiring easily transferable skills through adult education provides a great improvement in cross-cultural relationships, cooperation and understanding.
Having this in mind, a course on handling emotions and using them in community context and work was created and held in Cantabria, Spain and attended by Greek consortium participants. The course was designed to enhance the theoretical knowledge and practical experience in issues related to managing one´s emotions and use the techniques presented and exercised in the participants´ personal, community and work environments.
