ADULT EDUCATION POLICIES WORKSHOP REPORT
“Adult Education Policies Workshop” was held in partnership with Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, ISMEK Lifelong Learning Center and Istanbul Planning Agency. The workshop addressed a wide range of topics including adult education, vocational training and employment, and women's empowerment. The report of the workshop, which was held in eight sessions with the participation of expert academicians, NGOs and public institution representatives, was published.
In the report, it was emphasized that the way of inclusive education is through training together, that different trainings should not be organized for different groups, and the importance of education at the same time.
On the other hand, it was stated that with the changing world and technological developments, new professions have emerged and there is a need for program and standard development studies for these emerging professions.
