Access and Participation across the student lifecycle: highs and lows of Research and Practice

This free one-day is hosted by the University of Reading in partnership with Study Higher.
It will bring together widening participation practitioners and researchers to discuss the ongoing initiatives and challenges of raising student aspiration and attainment, before and during university education.
Keynotes will be given by:
- Chris Millward (Director of Fair Access and Participation, Office for Students) who will outline the goals and aspirations for widening participation from the perspectives of the OfS
- Stephanie Hamilton (Area Director - South of England, The Brilliant Club) who will outline The Brilliant Club's work with universities and schools to raise student attainment
