602 THOUSAND CITIZENS BENEFIT FROM PUBLIC EDUCATION CENTERS IN ONE MONTH


In January 2022, 602 thousand 282 citizens benefited from 996 public education centers operating in 81 provinces under the Turkish Ministry of National Education. 67% of the citizens who benefited from the courses in January are women.
The Ministry of National Education continues to provide education support to citizens through public education centers. 996 public education centers in 81 provinces meet the education demands of citizens within the scope of lifelong learning. In January 2022, 602 thousand 282 citizens benefited from the courses. It is seen that more women benefit from the courses. 67% of 602 thousand 282 citizens who benefited from the courses in January are women.
The goal is to reach one million citizens every month.
Making an evaluation on the subject, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer said: "While we are constantly increasing the capacity and quality of the formal education we offer as the Ministry, we are also trying to meet the education demanded by our citizens of all ages through our public education centers. Our 996 public education centers in 81 provinces are busy. 602 thousand 282 citizens benefited from the courses in January 2022. We see that more women benefit from the courses. 67% of our 602 thousand 282 citizens who benefited from the courses in January are women. "We aim to increase our number of women by taking into account and to reach one million citizens every month. For this purpose, they are working hard to get demands from our citizens in the regions where all our public education centers are located."
The highest demand was for hygiene education
The highest demand in public education centers was for the "Hygiene Training for Employees in the Food and Water Sector" course attended by 484 thousand 41 citizens. This training was followed by "Computer Operator", "Beekeeping", "Social Harmony and Life", "Quran Reading" and "English" courses.
Certificates in e-Government
The Ministry of National Education has added a new one to its efforts to facilitate access to documents and certificates after the services it has provided. All certificates received for the courses organized by public education centers were made accessible via the e-Government portal. Citizens who have received a new certificate or want to re-take their old certificates will be able to easily obtain their barcoded certificates through the e-government portal. Thus, citizens will not have to go to public education centers to receive their certificates.
