In the academic study carried out by Hüseyin AKPINAR in July 2019, who is the Director of Public Relations Department of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, supervised by Asst.Prof. Dr. Bülent DÖŞ examined the lifelong learning levels and technology acceptance levels of municipal workers. Within the scope of the research, lifelong learning dispositions scale and technology acceptance scale were applied to 246 personnel working in Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality. Thus, lifelong learning tendencies of the employees and their acceptance and use levels regarding the technology were determined. According to the results of the study, there was no difference between lifelong learning tendencies and technology acceptance levels between male and female employees. There was no difference between the groups in terms of education level. However, in-service training affects both lifelong learning trends and technology acceptance levels. Significant differences were found in favor of those who did not receive any in-service training and between at least one in-service training and 6 or more courses. In addition, as lifelong learning disposition increase, technology acceptance levels also increase. Therefore, it is recommended to open 6 or more in service courses in order to increase employees' lifelong learning tendencies. In addition, it is considered important to increase lifelong learning tendencies in order to increase the level of acceptance and use of technology.
