Job shadowing in the Erasmus+ project" Knowledge, unity and success for all with ref. no. 2024-1-RS01-KA121-SCH-000236613 for a teacher of computer science and history
Job shadowing activity according to the first accredited project called "Knowledge, equality, success for all" with ref. number 2024-1-RS01-KA121-SCH-000236613 from the Erasmus+ program, was realized by two colleagues from SSŠ "Branko Radičević", Jasmina Marić and Ivana Stanković in the period from October 29 to November 7, 2024. The Spanish school from Fernán Núñez, near Córdoba, was the host and organizer of this activity. Colleagues we met through previous projects made an effort to attend classes, additional activities, meetings and meetings with government representatives are going very well.
Excellent organization, distribution of responsibilities and activity of students in certain parts made the visit interesting, meaningful and colorful. A very good experience, a lot of new ideas that can be implemented in our daily work and the desire to maintain contact and participate in new projects are some of the results and conclusions after the realized mobility.
Colleague Ivana Stanković attended the classes of her colleagues
IT specialist - general informatics, business informatics,
programming, applied informatics, applied mathematics
but also in the class from the economic group of subjects where the Spanish colleague
made an effort to connect two subjects History - Business Informatics,
and make a very interesting lesson, using a modern approach to topics.
Colleague Jasmina Marić attended is in history lessons with a colleague who dealt with a topic that included a large time period. She observed her approach to the subject, the way she does it students animate, which of the digital technologies they use and how final year students are preparing for transfer from the field
of history, which is a mandatory subject for taking the exam for admission to
faculty. The director and her team of associates welcomed us and introduced her school, teachers and the Spanish system of education. We saw similarities and differences, and most of all we focused on the age of the students of our school and who they are differences in the "offer" of education at that age and how it is their schooling is conceived in the sphere of general but also vocational secondary schools. As we come from vocational school, our Spanish colleagues are made an effort that every afternoon, after classes at school, organize active time but in related to our profession. So we are participated in workshops on the topic of historical materials of Spain and Serbia, on the topic of historical monuments and cultural heritage of their country, workshops on the topic of digitalization of museums and monuments of culture and more.
They also showed us the olive oil production process and
explained the cooperation of the local community with the schools of that region. Also,
The mayor emphasized the importance of investment in education, but also aid
to young entrepreneurs who dare to start their own business immediately after completing compulsory education
part of schooling.
The equipment of the office and classrooms is similar to that of our school.
They have great help from the state and European funds in equipping them
IT cabinets, as evidenced by a large number of new, good ones
computers, but also 3d printers, lasers, recording equipment and production.
In the middle of the time spent on mobility in Spain,
the hosts organized a one-day tour of the city of Córdoba.
For colleagues, that day was also a work day, because so many historical facts,
so many collisions of civilizations and influences from that time, it's very
applicable as an example in class when dealing with the subject of the Spanish civil war.
The promotion of knowledge, sports, and a healthy life can also be seen on vacations and
by the content offered to Spanish students. Schools without personal
phones for both students and teachers. Equipment used as
teaching aids are only computers, smart boards and tablets learning purpose.
Final year students presented theirs to us
projects that compete in the competition that
held in Madrid every year. Some students are
have achieved outstanding results simply because they are a concept
designed the project from start to finish. Alone
realization is presented to us.
At the teacher's meeting, conclusions were drawn and some recommendations were given - the good sides of Serbian and
the good sides of the Spanish education system. They are singled out and disadvantaged. Teachers participating in Erasmus+ projects, they are already determined to reduce these shortcomings until they are removed in completely. Of course, how much is in our power.
Certificates have been awarded, Learning Agreements have been signed, while the Europass documents are still awaited.
Cooperation on ka2 projects was agreed upon, because we have an idea that arose during the visit
to teachers at their school.
Nice experience. It remains for us to fulfill what we have noticed that we can apply and
change for the better in our personal work with our students and colleagues.
