Short bio

At 26, as an apprentice project manager at Le LABA and a Master’s student in cultural and intercultural project engineering at the University of Bordeaux Montaigne, I am passionate about fostering interculturality. Focusing on bridging the gap between East and West, I coordinated projects like SEWEM (Sino-European Women Entrepreneurs in Music), funded by the EU programme Creative Europe, creating new cross-cultural learning and exchange spaces.

My Story of Empowerment

Before arriving in France, I engaged in Franco-Chinese exchanges through various mediums such as art exhibitions, promoting French museums in China, design projects, and children's workshops focused on ecology and French pedagogy Fréinet. Upon arriving in France, I was fortunate to join Le LABA, an organization that delves into numerous social issues, intertwining art with these subjects and collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds in Europe. This role revealed the brilliance inherent in different cultures, the misunderstandings that arise, and the critical need for explanation and understanding. This role, alongside adult learning and education, has significantly enriched my well-being and sense of fulfillment by providing opportunities to deepen my understanding of managing cultural projects in France. Through diverse projects, including my studies, master's thesis, coordination and participation in Erasmus+ initiatives, and part-time translation work in the art and cultural domain, I've discovered empowerment through connection and the transformative power of everyday interactions. 

By sharing experiences and stories, I've realized the importance of facilitating connections among individuals from diverse backgrounds, contributing to a more inclusive society.

My commitment to the mission of lifelong learning is exemplified through initiatives like the "Chinese-European Online Penpal Program," launched in collaboration with Xiangxiang of EU Youth in China. This program, which connected 41 Chinese and 41 European youths, demonstrates the younger generation's potential in fostering cross-cultural understanding and building a better world. Additionally, sharing my experiences with over 900 friends/followers on social media platforms like RED further amplifies the impact of adult education in empowering individuals and promoting social development.
