A General Lookout to Turkish MoNE’s new platform: ÖBA (Teacher Information Network)
On January 24, 2022, MoNE launched the Teacher Information Network (ÖBA) to aid in teachers' professional growth. ÖBA offers 158 training programs, 6 million users, and 111 thousand users. At least one training program made available through BA has been successfully completed by 944 thousand instructors. In order to enhance teachers' professional growth, the Ministry of National Education made the decision to create the Teacher Information Network (ÖBA) in December of 2021. Teachers can access the network using their MEBBS or e-State credentials by visiting www.oba.gov.tr and entering the network, which provides material and professional development training programs.
According to MoNE, ÖBA creates training programs in accordance with the unique needs of the school and offers assistance for teachers' professional growth. The ÖBA platform has professional development communities that are designed to encourage teacher collaboration and assist school development. Additionally, it promotes great and prosperous educational institutions to impart their wisdom. MoNE also established a Teacher-Administrator Mobility Program under this framework. All stakeholders have the chance to profit from these services thanks to ÖBA.
Technically speaking, in addition to its library and a ton of information, ÖBA provides the infrastructure needed for synchronous instruction. Additionally, there are iOS and Android apps for ÖBA. Additionally, BA provides programs for head teachers and expert teachers, and all of the materials are translated into sign language.
