The Kadıköy Public Education Center is getting EU funding with the project has been prepared by on the employment of disabled people. Kadıköy Public Education Center and Evening Arts School. Individual Learning Mobility 2017 Adult Education European Union project The project, which they have prepared and named as “FRIENDLY TO DISABLED FOR LIFE LONG", was prepared within a year. Our project was found worth supporting ğroject. Our goal is to save disabled adults from staying in the four walls of their homes and gain them in social life. Providing educational opportunities for disabled people after they have finished their formal education. In recent years, our general directorate has prepared new training programs for disabled adults to gain publicity. Kadikoy Public Education Center is one of the first institutions to implement these programs.

In the coordination of Kadıköy Public Education Center and Evening Arts School Directorate’s Private Education Teacher Sevgi Civaş and Drama Teacher Sedat BULUÇ, with the partner Afyonkarahisar Public Education Center and Ankara Continuous Education Research and Advisory Association manager Hülya Narsap, stated that they have been continuing their courses for disable people for two years, among them, Kadıköy Municipality and the courses they have opened jointly with the pre-practice of the project, they have realized with a sense of these courses. For Adult Disable people; handicrafts, bakery, English, painting, drama courses. The project aims to provide disabled adults new skills and transform their skills into production. He stated that they have completed the courses and they have earned their own pocket money as well.

Kadıköy Public Education Center and Evening Arts School Directorate said that 6 courses and 69 disabled students trained since last year and 171 trainees benefited from sign language courses. With the project, teachers will find the opportunity to see and study on the educational programs for disabled people in Germany and adult studies and different studies on disable adults.
