”European traineeship for my future”
Background: Why did you apply for this project?
European practice for my future / European traineeship for my future ”VET mobility project, beneficiary of the Technological High School“ Nicanor Morosan ”, Pirtestii de jos, Suceava county, was set in the period 2020-2021. It is our first Erasmus + project that we have successfully implemented.
The project responded to the needs of the high school by increasing the quality of students' initial training to European standards in order to support socio-professional inclusion and increase the chances of employment of students, and the high school's need for European openness. It connected the high school to the European labor market and contributed, through dissemination activities, to its promotion.
32 students, qualification Tourism Technician, have gained work experience in a real, international, competitive environment, with modern equipment in the field.
The competencies of the beneficiaries have been recognized by the Europass Mobility certificate both at national and European level.
Objectives: What did you want to achieve by implementing the project?
Project goal: International cooperation to increase the quality of vocational training of students through practical training at European standards.
Objectives:
1. Increasing the level of ECVET transferable key and specialized competencies for 32 students, Tourism Technician profile, from disadvantaged backgrounds, by participating in 90 h (6h / day) internships in Cyprus and Portugal for better integration on the labor market.
2. Improving students' adaptability to new socio-professional and cultural environments, developing teamwork, multilingual, intercultural, civic, social skills, a better understanding of European values through 3-week transnational mobility.
3. Partnership with 6 European institutions from Portugal and Cyprus
4. Increasing the European dimension of the high school and its promotion at local and European level.
Implementation: What activities did you implement?
A selection was organized in our high school, 32 participants were selected. The selection followed the principles: transparency, equal opportunities, avoidance of any conflicts of interest.
The participants completed a training program consisting of 3 modules: pedagogical (20h), English Language 20h, country of internship language 20h, English language course OLS (30h), cultural (10h).
We collaborated with 2 intermediary companies: Rivensco Consulting Ltd. Cyprus and Associação Intercultural Amigos da Mobilidade Portugal.
Flux1 - Cyprus, 16 students, 11th grade, Tourism Technician for” Learning Agreement” for 90 hours, “Practical training course in tourism units” at the reception partners A&P Worldchoice LTD and P & S24 / 7 Mediterranean Travel Ltd .
Flux2 - Portugal, 16 students, cl. 10th, Tourism Technician, for the realization of the “Learning Agreement” for “Organizing the activity in tourism units” at the reception partners Quinta de Santa Comba, Cavado Tour.

Beneficiaries have improved their professional competences, key and personal skills through experience working in European, multilingual, multicultural teams. They have experienced the level of training required by European economic agents, are more motivated to learn and interested in their professional future. They have made visits and excursions, they have come into contact with new people, they are more sociable, they have a more open attitude towards European values.
The one-year international partnership, with 6 European companies from Cyprus and Portugal connected the school with the European labor market, developed the European dimension of our school.
