EU+MAP : A New Horizon in Digital Learning for educators and learners
The EU+MAP project aims to offer people with a migrant background at risk of social exclusion to participate in language courses supported by a pedagogical curriculum that considers the sociological learning needs of people with a migrant background and create the necessary skills updating opportunities for trainers to implement the programs within the project and for future projects.
In order to achieve this target, the project partners developed an e-learning platform that offers a comprehensive online learning environment designed to support adult educators and migrant adult learners across Europe in building essential skills in foreign language learning.
The EU+MAP platform is divided into two different courses:
One addressed to adult educators, and one addressed to adult migrant learners.
The one addressed to adult educators introduces an innovative, self-paced, two-hour course designed for educators working with migrants and refugees. This course offers tools for creating inclusive language-learning environments, focusing on the emotional impact on learners. Educators will discover how to use participatory, non-formal teaching methods—including gamification, storytelling, and digital tools—to create more meaningful learning experiences and foster positive attitudes towards integration. By combining theory with hands-on activities, the course enables educators to enhance language skills and instill confidence in their students, strengthening both teaching strategies and student engagement.
The one addressed to migrant adult learners is based on a language course on Moodle that offers an interactive, self-paced experience tailored for adult migrant learners aiming to build or refine their language skills. Through engaging exercises focused on daily scenarios, participants will expand their vocabulary, strengthen grammar, and improve pronunciation. Each lesson is crafted to boost confidence and fluency, making the journey both accessible and enjoyable. Designed to foster a supportive learning community, the course encourages questions, practice, and connection—inviting learners to unlock new opportunities through language.
The Moodle platform offers 7 different courses in the partners national languages: French, Greek, Italian, Spanish, German, Danish, Swedish and an international one in English.
