Within the framework of Erasmus+  School Education  Staff Mobility programme, our project “From Generation to the Future: Digital Touch to Education” carried in  IMKB 24 Kasım Anatolian High School. With the aim of  increasing the chances for  teachers to pursue professional development in order to   increase students’ participation, motivation and success teachers of various subjects attended three training mobilities.

The first  training mobility  which  was entitled “Project Based Learning in the Classroom: Setup, Integration and Reflection Project Based Learning” carried out  in Italy between  04 December 2017 and 09 December 2017. ” This training activity  provided the participants  with a detailed account of Project Based Learning and the opportunities to experience hands on experience about designing projects.  The second mobility “ Web Solutions for the Classroom”  was carried out in Spain between 22 January 2018 and 27 January 2018. It provided the participants with the opportunity    to use   ICT  and Web based tools in and out of the classroom and diversify teaching methods.  The last mobility  “Flip the Class through ICT ” was carried out in France  between 18 June 2018 and 22 June 2018.    The activity provided  the teachers  with the account of how to integrate  flipped learning  into classroom teaching. The mobilities were certified through MobilityEuropass,  and participants received course specific  certificates.

The outcome of these mobilities is to build an  integrated ICT based learning model made up of components of flipped and project based learning through which teachers involve students in learning process in and outside the classroom and therefore  increase students’ participation, motivation and academical success.  By this way, it is expected to  contribute to help  students  become successful,   problem solver, digital  and science literate in the long term.

During the training  experience, the teachers were informed about the current educational methodologies and have the chance to exchange ideas about educational systems and teaching practice by communicating with teachers from various countries.  They developed  teamwork skills, comunication skills. We suppose this project have shed light to further projects and open new horizons for our teaching practice in the age of technology.

Regarding the adult education, we aim to organize meetings with parents and inform them about Project Based Learning, Flipped Learning and  ICT and Web 2 tools as a part of our dissemination plan. By doing this, we aim to contribute to involvement of parents into lifelong learning process and enabling them to understand students' learning path. Additionally, we aim to inform parents about how to integrate Web based technologies into learning so as to eliminate  negative generalizations   about the utility of educational technology.
