EPALE Podcast – Pandemic and the higher education experience

In this podcast episode, we talk to higher education students about their learning experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. What has changed?

It is obvious that the global pandemic has been disproportionally rough on those already in vulnerable positions. One group of learners particularly affected by the pandemic are higher education students.

For those living through their university years, these past two years have most likely been quite different from what they had imagined.

Many students have really struggled with motivation to learn and general well-being. However, some have also found unexpected positives in the forced distance learning period. Find out more as we hear from students in Finland, UK and Estonia.

You will hear insights and experiences by:

Kirsi Höykinpuro, University of Helsinki

Sara Pasino, Cardiff University

Kätlin Armei, Tallinn University

Moderated by:

Galvenās izmaiņas mācību procesā atspoguļojās tajā, ka studijas nenorisinās klātienē, bet attālināti. Man šķiet, ka lielākā problēma mācoties attālināti ir motivācija.
