Beyond the Curriculum: Celebrating Cultural Identity in ELT
Lifelong Learning Malta gives the opportunity to thousands of people across the border to learn any skill/s of their choice. As an educator, I get to meet lots of interesting people from over the globe. Our lessons are engaging, interactive and most of all bring people from various cultures together. Learners enjoy sharing stories and information about where they come from and twice a year they get to cook something typical of their country or region and they talk about, explain what ingredients are used and how it is made. It's a wonderful opportunity and a pleasure to see them all united under one roof.
