Artykuł ukazał się w kwartalniku „Języki obce w szkole” (nr 4/2013), wydawanym przez Fundację Rozwoju Systemu Edukacji. Tekst przedstawia wyniki ogólnopolskiego badania ankietowego, w którym wzięli udział seniorzy uczący się języków obcych. Badanie jest częścią większego projektu badawczego w dziedzinie międzykulturowych badań glottogeragogicznych. Analizie poddane zostały miejsca i sposoby uczenia się języków oraz motywacja do podjęcia nauki.

Vlaams minister van Onderwijs Hilde Crevits ondertekende op 14 september het samenwerkingsverband rond de Europese Dag van de Talen (EDT). Deze dag, die het leren van vreemde talen wil promoten en bevorderen, vindt jaarlijks plaats op 26 september en is een initiatief van de Raad van Europa en de Europese Commissie. Met de ondertekening engageert minister Crevits zich om dit initiatief te ondersteunen. Dit jaar staat de Europese Dag van de Talen in Vlaanderen in het teken van ‘Talen voor Sociale Inclusie’.

The ultimate aim is to provide Member States with hard data and comparisons on which any necessary adjustments in their approach to foreign language teaching and learning can be based. The Norwegian-English Duolingo version has been launched for tablets, mobile phones and PC. The application can be used as a fun and motivating supplement to language training for users who knows English.

 

The program is suitable for practising words and concepts in Norwegian, as users have to repeat and apply them many times before they are allowed to move on to a new subject. The more practise, the more points. If users do not practise regularly, they will lose points and have to revise exercises to strengthen their skills.

S prevodom priročnika hočejo raziskovalcem, izobraževalcem in drugim strokovnjakom podrobneje predstaviti metodologijo, vzorčni načrt in možnosti primerjave s prejšnjimi raziskavami spretnosti odraslih in povezave z raziskavo PISA (Programme for International Student Assesment).

Le programme stimule l'acquisition de la langue et de la pré-alphabétisation et cultive le plaisir de lire par la lecture de livres à des enfants issus de familles peu alphabétisées. Il renforce le développement linguistique des jeunes enfants et encourage leurs parents à jouer un rôle actif dans leur développement. Une fois par semaine et pendant 20 semaines, un lecteur rend visite à la famille. Pendant une heure, il familiarise enfants et parents au rituel nocturne de lecture d'une histoire aux petits.

Apprendre à écrire par l'oralité, tel est le but ultime du projet Phorevox conduit par l'IInstitut de recherche en informatique et systèmes aléatoires (IRISA). Grâce à la qualité de la synthèse vocale amenée par la société-partenaire Voxygen, le projet Phorevox a pu développer une brique technologique de synthèse de parole adaptée à l'enseignement. De grande qualité et modulable vis à vis du rythme d'écriture de l'apprenant, le souci technique du projet fut vite résolu.
