Keď som, ako začínajúci učiteľ, dostala ponuku zúčastniť sa prostredníctvom Erasmus+ na Teacher Trainingu v Pilgrims, Anglicku, neváhala som ani minútu. Baví ma sa zdokonaľovať v jazyku, zručnostiach, cestovať, spoznávať nových ľudí a ich kultúry, takže táto možnosť bola pre mňa skvelou príležitosťou, ako veľkolepo odštartovať moju kariéru. Samozrejme, mala som obavy a trému, pretože nebola som natoľko „experienced“ ako ostatní, starší učitelia a mala som v hlave množstvo otáznikov.

When you talk about contemporary museum education, the term ‘participatory museum’ immediately comes to mind. In museum context, in short, participation is co-creating interpretations, sharing experiences and combining them in order to jointly go through an exhibition. In this exchange of feelings, cultural and historical experiences, visitors and the museum, including its employees and educators, are involved. These processes would not have been possible without communication, which allows questions to be asked, views to be exchanged and social bonds to be created. For effective communication to take place, it is essential to create conditions for active language interaction. And this is why the Museum of Warsaw has developed the project entitled Warsaw for Intermediate Learners, as part of which a series of classes based on content and language integrated learning were created, as well as museum and street games, intended for foreigners learning Polish.

The ELT Conference will take place at Prospero House in London on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 January 2020.  It is ideal for those working in the ELT sector. The conference will provide plenaries, elective sessions, expert speakers and a food and drinks reception. The first day will focus on academic management, the second on classroom practice.

Od momentu, gdy zaczynamy się czegokolwiek uczyć w miarę świadomie i na poważnie, kiełkuje w nas marzenie, żeby to, czego się (na)uczymy, zostało nam na zawsze. Marzenie nieziszczalne, można by rzec, i to dla obu stron-uczestników procesu edukacji: uczniów i nauczycieli. Przekonujemy się przecież dość szybko, jak wiele nam umyka, choć tempo tych „strat” jest różne i dostrzegalne raczej późno.

After two years of continuous work, our Erasmus+ strategic partnership "Languages, Opening Gates to Society" (LOGS) has finished. Four organizations from  four different European countries were involved:

Ich schlage heute einen „Spaziergang durchs Internet“ vor, um nach Orten zu suchen, wo Sprachlehrer Inspirationen für interessante und ansprechende Materialien für Erwachsene finden. Alle hier aufgeführten Quellen sind kostenlos, einige erfordern jedoch eine Anmeldung. Aus offensichtlichen Gründen überwiegt Englisch, jedoch sind auch andere Sprachen vertreten.

Språkkunskaper är många gånger nyckeln till samhället - en förutsättning för att få jobb och kunna försörja sig själv. Samtidigt är det inte så lätt att få tid och möjlighet att lära sig ett nytt språk - i ett nytt land. Mjölby bibliotek har startat upp en bokcirkel för att möjliggöra för kvinnor som vill lära sig svenska.

"Sharing Best Practices in Teaching English for 50+" is an international project with English language teachers/learners from Poland, Romania, and Estonia taking part in it. The project was implemented as part of the Erasmus + Adult Education program, Action 2. The main purpose of the project/cooperation was to exchange experience in the field of teaching English to 50+ students.

Priseljencem lahko pri učenju jezika za potrebe dela pomagamo z različnimi programi, dejavnostmi in usposabljanji na delovnem mestu, s katerimi jim omogočamo formalno in neformalno učenje jezika.

Workshop on the Languages and Cultures of Syrian Turkmen Immigrants in the Context of Intangible Cultural Heritage "

Gaziantep University Faculty of Arts and Sciences Department of Turkish Language and Literature "Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Context of Syrian Turkmen Immigrants Workshop on the language and culture" will be organized. The evet will take a place in GAUN (Gaziantep University) Mavera Congress and Cultural Hall in the main campus. The workshop will be held in two sessions. In the first session language dialects will be discussed and in the second session intangible cultural heritage will be discussed.

Aujourd’hui, je suggère «de naviguer sur Internet» à la recherche d’endroits où les professeurs de langues peuvent trouver l’inspiration pour créer des supports intéressants et attrayants pour les adultes. Toutes les sources répertoriées ici sont gratuites, bien que certaines puissent nécessiter une inscription. Pour des raisons évidentes, l'anglais domine, mais d'autres langues sont également représentées.
