Second Polish-British Science Forum: Women in STEM

Following a drive in 2018 for further collaboration between Britain and Poland, the Second Polish-British Science Forum will take place in London 19-20 September 2019 and celebrate collaborative science projects and the work of women in STEM. Special focus will also be given to AI and machine learning, as well as entrepreneurship in Ed-Tech.

Prva ljetnja škola startapa “Montenegrin Summer Startup School“, pod pokroviteljstvom Ministarstva nauke, Univerziteta Crne Gore i Instituta Konfucije, održaće se od 16. do 23. septembra 2019. godine, u Univerzitetskom sportsko-kulturnom centru. 

Za sve zainteresovane studente prijave su otvorene do 5. septembra.

The ever-increasing financialization and complexity requires financial literacy to be an integral part of the research agenda and of global policy making, in particular in the EU. SUCCEED's partnership was composed of expert educational organizations such as CONFORM (Italy), BICERO (Slovenia) and FUNIBER (Spain) and a wide range of business support organizations: a business incubator, The Hive(Italy) and many networks of enterprises such as SATEAN(Romania), Italian-Luxembourgish Chamber of Commerce (Luxembourg), RES and CBE (both from Belgium).

Kaleidsocope training for migrant women was piloted in 2018-2019 in Finland, France, Italy and the UK. The particiapting women came from almost 30 different countries and more than half of them had a higher educational degree.

The results overall were very positive. In a nutsheel we found out that:

1 – The material was useful and empowering

2 – The material helps women during their first steps towards entrepreneurship and to understand their potential

3 – Women liked to share experiences and discuss

4 – These is a need of such courses in the society

Vilniaus technologijų mokymo centras pirmasis Lietuvoje profesiniame mokyme pradėjo įgyvendinti aukštos kvalifikacijos IT specialistų mokymą: 2014 m. suformavo pirmąją Java programuotojų grupę, 2016 m. pradėjo vykdyti programinės įrangos testuotojo mokymo programą, o šių metų rugsėjį startuos .NET programuotojų grupė. Nuosekliai norint užtikrinti mokymo kokybę investuojama ir į IT profesijos mokytojų kompetencijų tobulinimą. Viena iš priemonių – stažuotės užsienio partnerių įmonėse ir mokymo centruose. Šių metų balandį Vokietijos sostinė Berlynas Vilniaus technologijų mokymo centro IT profesijos mokytojus: Vilmą Gudeikaitę, Tomą Tribušauską, Justiną Balsę ir Jaroslavą Grablevskį – pasitiko ne tik didmiesčio ritmu, bet galimybėmis pažinti dualinio mokymo ir pameistrystės profesiniame mokyme įgyvendinant IT krypties mokymo programas specifiką mokymo centre „OSZ IMT – Oberstufenzentrum Informations und Medizintechnik“

10.lipnja 2019. godine u prostorijama Pučkog otvorenog učilišta Pouka prof. Biserka Marčinko prezentirala je projekt „Turizam, poduzetništvo,poljoprivreda“ za polaznike učilišta i ostale zainteresirane građane. Projekt je odobren iz sredstava Europske unije u okviru programa Erasmus+. Cilj ove prezentacije bio je prenijeti iskustva s Malte na području agrarnog turizma te razvoj ovog oblika poduzetništva u Karlovačkoj županiji.
