Lernende in Deutschkursen der Erwachsenenbildung sprechen viele Sprachen, das heißt, sie besitzen reichhaltige sprachliche Repertoires, sie sind alle ganz verschieden und haben bewegende Biografien: Sie sind „superdivers“ und sie sind mehrsprachig.

Warum spricht der afghanische Jugendliche Somali und warum ist Arabisch nicht die Erstsprache einer syrischen Teilnehmerin? Wie gehen wir in der Praxis mit dieser Vielfalt und vermeintlichen Widersprüchen um? Lassen wir uns überraschen – ganz nach dem Motto „unexpect the expected“, also erwarte nicht das Erwartbare!

ADULT EDUCATION STAFF TRAINING

Educators in adult education are very often overwhelmed with the specific issues they have to deal in adults’ classes (low level of motivation among students, mixed ability classes, students with specific learning needs). Apart from that, sometimes they are not skilled enough for preparing, organizing and evaluating courses, both for formal and non-formal programs. The work with adults requires specific skills, methods and knowledge. This course allows participants to get to know, experiment and practice the most relevant innovative teaching methods for work with adults.
