Donna Moore is the the Adult Literacy and Numeracy Development Worker at Glasgow Women’s Library. She works with some women who have never learned to read and write – for many reasons: they may have experienced abuse or trauma, or are refugees, or have a learning disability. Other women are going back to college after a long period out of learning, or want to write their own story, or do a crossword, or read a poem. Everything Donna does is learner led.

Širenje obrazovanja putem interneta otvorilo je pristup obrazovanju široj populaciji putem online predavanja u stvarnom vremenu. To znači da ima puno ljudi koji unapređuju svoje znanje i vještine, a koji to inače ne bi mogli učiniti. Međutim, online predavanja imaju svoje izazove. Na primjer, s različitim vremenskim zonama i različitim rasporedima rada učesnika širom svijeta, vrlo je teško zakazati čas kada je svaki student ili polaznik dostupan. Ovdje stupaju na snagu webinari.

Národná podporná služba EPALE Slovensko (ďalej NSS EPALE Slovensko) sa v prvom kvartáli roku 2020 umiestnila na popredných priečkach v Európe. Priemerne sa v sledovanom období umiestňuje na prvých troch priečkach spomedzi všetkých 38 národných podporných službách v Európe. Svedčia o tom štatistiky z Analytickej správy, ktorú na štvrťročnej periodicite spracováva Centrálna podporná služba EPALE.
