This is a free online 4 day event for FET Practitioners to ensure that none of your precious time and resources are wasted in class.

Dates of online sessions: 13th, 16th, 20th and 23rd July

Times of online sessions : 2pm-3pm

Based on concerns raised by practitioners in The Further Education and Training Sector  in AHEAD’s FET Practitioner Survey on the impact of COVID-19, AHEAD have now launched the first FET Summer School to help any FET Practitioners, spend the limited time and resources they have in the way that will best prepare them to reach the broadest spectrum of learners right now and into the new term.

This event is available to anyone working in The FET Sector at the moment including practitioners, centre managers, QA ETB Staff, course coordinators, learning support staff.

This series will provide free resources and talks over two weeks to address any major challenges or concerns you have around supporting learners including those with disabilities in the upcoming year ahead using UDL thinking.

You will hear directly from FET Practitioners from across the country who have found small and easy steps to reach learners like never before.

This session is hosted by AHEAD and will be guided by Dr Thomas Tobin, US expert in Universal Design for Learning.

This AHEAD Summer School is part of the UDL for FET project commissioned by SOLAS and ETBI. The project is co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Social Fund as part of the ESF Programme for Employability, Inclusion and Learning 2014-2020.
