Γλώσσα: EN

The Open University has announced Education (Technology Enhanced Learning) as one of its priority research areas for the next five years. This builds on the fact that the OU is already the European leader for massive innovations in learning technologies, which break down barriers globally. It is also at the forefront of technologies shaping the future of education.

An Open University report on the new forms of teaching, learning, and assessment for an interactive world, identifies ten innovations that are already in currency, but have not yet had a profound influence on education. The report highlights the growing role social networks play in learning.

Hear what Mike Sharples, Professor of Educational Technology at the OU and lead author of the Innovating Pedagogy report, has to say about the future of educational technology in the video below.
