The EPALE Resource Centre is a bank of materials that will help keep you up to date with adult education best practices and reference documents.

We publish case studies of innovative adult education approaches, reports and policy documents as well as magazine and newspaper articles.

You will also be able to find open education resources as well as training and learning materials so you will always have access to the best tools to help you in your everyday work.

 

How to use the Resource Centre

There are several ways to browse and search the EPALE Resource Centre:

  1. Browse The newest content is at the top of the page so you can easily stay up to date with the most recent developments in the sector.

  2. Search Go straight to a specific resource by typing the title, author or keyword in the search box.

  3. Filter Filter by type of resource, theme, tags, country, author and language. Relevant resources will be listed to the left of the page.

The project RefuTools aimed at developing tools to support refugees not only in their entry into the labour market but overall their orientation in their host countries. In that sense, the following app constitutes a useful tool for refugees in order to find their way around in their host countries.

Given its progressive aging and the need for skilled labor, the construction sector is one of the sectors with the greatest potential for the professional integration of refugees who have arrived in Europe fleeing from situations of conflict. To that end, the project RefuTools has developed a curriculum proposal that ensures a basic, common and standardized level on concepts, techniques and materials of building construction, presenting in a more detailed way one of its trades, bricklaying works.

The following manual is the result of a workshop within the RefuTools project. The contents, procedures and examples have been specifically developed for work with asylum seekers, refugees and migrants in order to allow them easier access to the social environment of the “host country”.

The RefuTools Project has developed a board game directed at refugees, which promotes intercultural communication in a friendly, funny and creative way. It improves players knowledge about their host country by exchange of: cultural specifics, traditions and customs, education and communication.
