This report identifies 116 labour market reforms taking place across 29 European countries (EU-28 and Iceland), introduced between mid-March and mid-September 2014. Most new measures (24) were introduced in Policy Area (PA) 2iii.

To help improving basic skills in the Norwegian adult population, and establish national standards in Norway, Vox has developed a comprehensive set of competence goals for basic skills in the areas of literacy, numeracy, oral communication and the use of ICT. Es wächst das Interesse nach kirchlichen Angeboten, denen es primär nicht um Hilfe oder Sorge geht, sondern die von der Gestaltungsfreude und-kraft älterer Menschen ausgehen. Gefragt sind Angebote, die Neugier wecken und Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten bieten.

V njem Xavier Pratts Monné, generalni direktor Direktorata za izobraževanje in kulturo, poudarja pomen okrepitve naložb v izobraževanje, spodbude socialne vključenosti ter pomen kakovosti in prožnosti sistema izobraževanja in usposabljanja. The European Training Foundation (ETF) key indicators were used in the reviews and analyses of the 2012 round of the Torino Process, which assesses the Vocational Education Training (VET) systems of all ETF partner countries. The first round of the Torino Process took place in 2010 and the experience gathered here was used to improve the analytical framework for the 2012 reviews and to rework the list of indicators suggested for analysing the VET systems.

PIAAC (Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies - Program medzinárodného hodnotenia kompetencií dospelých) je medzinárodný výskum o využívaní kompetencií dospelých v práci a zamestnaní, realizovaný OECD. Ide o program mapujúci kognitívne kompetencie, ktorý je zároveň nástrojom pre monitorovanie gramotnosti dospelých a prostriedkom na identifikovanie príčin a dôsledkov nadobúdania a straty kompetencií. Medzinárodný výskum tohto typu zisťuje predovšetkým to, ako sú občania jednotlivých krajín pripravení reagovať na nové výzvy vedomostnej spoločnosti.
