This comparative report consolidates findings stemming from the country profiles prepared by each of the project partners for their respective countries: Serbia, Slovakia, Hungary, Italy, Germany and Ireland. The following text is a comparative review of aspects of policy making in AL explored through the REGIONAL interview questionnaire. The text draws comparative conclusions in relation to: Policy Formulation, The purpose of AL, Consultation for Policy Formation, the importance and utilisation of Data Documents, Policy Implementation, and Funding.

This report consolidates the tools and resources that partners of the project "Comparative Analysis of Regional Policies for Adult Learning" (REGIONAL) developed and used to carry out the comparative analysis of how policies for Adult Learning (AL) are formulated, implemented and funded in various local contexts across different EU and associated countries.

This Tool Kit is a key product of the REGIONAL project ‘Comparative Analysis of Regional Policies for Adult Learning’. Research was carried out across six European countries: Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Serbia and Slovakia in response to the findings of the report compiled by the European Commission “Mind the Gap: Education Inequality across EU Regions” in 2012 which highlighted regional disparities in Adult Education provision. Project partners developed country profiles on the basis of qualitative data gathered across 21 regions from which a comparative report was compiled.

Newsletter je izrađen i objavljen u sklopu projekta „EPALE Nacionalna služba za podršku za Republiku Hrvatsku“ te sadrži glavne informacije o projektu i platformi EPALE, prikaz proteklih događanja u sklopu projekta i najavu budućih aktivnosti.

Glavne su prednosti hrvatskog sustava obrazovanja i osposobljavanja niska stopa ranog napuštanja školovanja i visoka stopa nastavka školovanja nakon srednje strukovne škole. Pozitivne promjene u zemlji uključuju donošenje sveobuhvatne Strategije obrazovanja, znanosti i tehnologije, koja će biti glavni pokretač reformi u nadolazećim godinama. U strategiji se dubinski ocjenjuje stanje hrvatskog obrazovnog sustava i uspostavlja se ambiciozan program za poboljšanje obrazovnih rezultata u svim obrazovnim sektorima.

The guide presented a theoretical concept of case creation, application and analysis (CCAA) method and practical possibilities to implement this method into teaching/learning process. Although the publication itself is more focused on formal adult education, this guide can also be useful and relevant to all adult educators, because the cases – its creation, application and analysis - as more or less the peace of reality can be very effectively used in non-formal adult education.

Vadove pristatyta teorinė atvejo kūrimo, taikymo ir analizės (AKTA) metodo koncepcija ir praktinės šio metodo taikymo mokymosi procese galimybės. Nors pats leidinys daugiau orientuotas į formalųjį suaugusiųjų mokymo(si) procesą, šis vadovas taip pat gali būti naudingas ir aktualus visiems suaugusiųjų švietėjams, nes atvejai – jų kūrimas, taikymas, analizė – kaip didesnė ar mažesnė realybės dalelė gali būti labai efektyviai panaudojami neformaliajame suaugusiųjų švietime. 

The most important thing in this methodic is the idea that essence of learning is a reflection of the experience, because any learning activity loses its meaning if it is applied mechanically, without reflection on the past accumulated experience and its interpretation.

Svarbiausia šioje metodikoje akcentuojama mintis, kad mokymosi esmė yra reflektavimas apie patirtį, nes bet koks veiksmas mokantis netenka savo prasmės, jei jis taikomas mechaniškai, neapmąsčius praeityje sukauptos patirties ir jos neinterpretavus.

Tarptautinio projekto metu parengti Atviri švietimo ištekliai (AŠI) skirti siekiantiems įsidarbinti arba sukurti savo verslą. Ištekliai parengti lietuvių kalba ir yra visiškai atviri, tad juos suaugusiųjų švietėjai gali naudoti savo veikloje, mokymuose ar pasiūlyti kolegoms. Daugybė testų bei užduočių apie motyvaciją, gebėjimus, mokymosi ir tobulėjimo stilių, pasirengimą verslui ir kt. parengti interaktyviai, kai vartotojui pateikiamas grįžtamasis ryšys ir paaiškinimai. 

Together with mobility, Erasmus+ also fosters cooperation for innovation and exchange of experience and good practice through funding transnational projects. In this, strong support is given to Strategic Partnerships, which can be combined in many different ways to build and fund a wide variety of projects. This brochure is a start-up guide to Strategic Partnerships. It provides basic information on who can apply, where, how and when, some hints on do’s and don’ts, and some concrete real-life examples. It sets out the four award criteria that are used to assess partnership proposals.

Izobraževanje odraslih je hevristično, multidisciplinarno in eklektično, baza znanja pa razpršena in nepopolna. Za tako raznovrstno področje, kot je izobraževanje odraslih, je nemogoče v celoti predstaviti vse njegove odtenke.

The article aims at disclosing the importance of reflection for the activity of adult learning teacher in the context of professional activity quality improvement.  The first part of the article highlights the concept of reflection, the second – reveals the models of reflection application in order to get better understanding of this phenomenon as well as to apply it effectively in adult learning teachers’ practical activity.

Straipsnyje siekiama atskleisti refleksijos svarbą suaugusiųjų švietėjo (andragogo-praktiko) veikloje pabrėžiant refleksijos aktualumą profesinės veiklos kokybės tobulinimo kontekste. Pirmojoje straipsnio dalyje teoriškai apibūdinama refleksijos samprata, antrojoje - pateikiami refleksijos taikymo modeliai siekiant išsamesnio šio reiškinio supratimo bei efektyvaus praktinio pritaikymo tobulinant andragogų-praktikų profesinės veiklos kokybę.

There are possibly more than one million libraries throughout the world today. It is nevertheless obvious that not all scientific researchers or general users of libraries have access to relevant and valuable literature to the extent that is desirable and appropriate. What literature in the English language on innovation, entrepreneurship, and social entrepreneurship is available in the world libraries, and is there interest in acquiring more? This article presents analysis and results after visiting 93 libraries in 61 countries on four continents.

ShareIT ist ein europäisches Projekt, das von fünf Projektpartnern und zwanzig assoziierten Erwachsenenbildungseinrichtungen in Schottland, Polen, Österreich, der Schweiz und Deutschland umgesetzt wurde.

Das Projektziel von ShareIT ist die Implementierung von Methoden des informellen Lernens und kollegialen Erfahrungsaustauschs im Bereich der Basisbildung/Grundbildung innerhalb von Europa. Überdies sollte der Austausch zu einer Verbesserung praktischer Fähigkeiten von Kursleitenden und Trainerinnen, innovative Methoden und Online-Tools anzuwenden, führen.
