Library. I love it! es un convenio de aprendizaje Grundtvig subvencionado por la Unión Europea, en el que han participado ocho bibliotecas de diferentes países de Europa: Austria, Croacia, España, Finlandia, Italia, Polonia, República Checa y Turquía. La formación bibliotecaria ha sido uno de los principales objetivos de este proyecto. Desde agosto de 2013 hasta junio de 2015, los países asociados organizaron encuentros profesionales en los que debatir sobre el pasado, presente y futuro de las bibliotecas europeas.

The ESF is funding tens of thousands of projects across the Union that make a real difference to the lives of millions of individuals. This is a Dutch example project in the IJssel-Vecht region of the Netherlands that is promoting an innovative form of job creation for the younger generation. Nautus, a Dutch company, is implementing a project called ‘Vouchers leerwerkbanen’ which provides job vouchers for local companies to take on apprentices.

This is a Dutch example about Jongeren Aanpak Noordoost-Brabant (JAN) that saw several municipalities work together to prevent unemployment amongst young people. The success of the project is the fact that the unemployment rate amongst young people did not increase during the financial and economic crisis in this region.

Populárně naučný článek na téma kvality ve vzdělávání dospělých, zaměřen je na problematiku originality vzdělávacích a doplňkových služeb pro zákazníka vzdělávání. Lektor, prozákaznický přístup, etika. To vše jsou jistě důležité faktory rozhodující o kvalitě vzdělávání dospělých. Klíčem ke skutečné kvalitě je však také často opomíjený prvek – metodika vzdělávání a schopnost vytvářet vlastní produkty. Řada vzdělávacích institucí pouze kopíruje kurzy, které pak můžete nalézt v portfoliu mnoha dalších. Dochází tak ke sdílení know-how, mnohdy však i k jeho vědomému zcizení. Skutečně kvalitní vzdělávací instituce naopak nabízejí své vlastní originální produkty a služby (kurzy, semináře, pracovní sešity, celé knihy či pomůcky ke studiu). Pokud nechcete koupit několikrát recyklovaný vzdělávací program, pak sledujte, do jaké míry vám vzdělávací instituce nabízí originální produkty. Zde najdete několik tipů, jak při výběru postupovat.

It is common to attach importance to this aspect of an adult’s learning and life trajectory in evaluations of university programmes focusing specifically on adults. The emphasis here is on engaging the adults’ life experiences. Populárně naučný článek na téma kvality ve vzdělávání dospělých, zaměřen je na problematiku kvality metodiky vzdělávání a souvisejících procesů. Lektor, lektor a zase lektor. Ať se zeptáte majitelů vzdělávacích institucí či jejich klientů, odpověď je vždy stejná – nejvíce rozhodujícím činitelem úspěchu vzdělávací akce je lektor. Jistě, lektor je klíčový, ale nikoliv jediný hlavní činitel. Chcete-li vybrat vzdělávací instituci, která není postavena jen na kultu lektora (mnohdy navíc lektora jediného), pátrejte s námi po tom, co také dotváří kvalitu vzdělávací akce, kterou kupujete. Neopomíjejte zásadní prvek – metodiku vzdělávání. Jde sice o velmi široký a nesnadno vymezitelný pojem, přesto je jedním z klíčů k úspěšnosti vzdělávací akce. Pojďme si rozklíčovat, na co se v rámci metodiky vzdělávání nejvíce zaměřit.

Le programme stimule l'acquisition de la langue et de la pré-alphabétisation et cultive le plaisir de lire par la lecture de livres à des enfants issus de familles peu alphabétisées. Il renforce le développement linguistique des jeunes enfants et encourage leurs parents à jouer un rôle actif dans leur développement. Une fois par semaine et pendant 20 semaines, un lecteur rend visite à la famille. Pendant une heure, il familiarise enfants et parents au rituel nocturne de lecture d'une histoire aux petits.

The programme enhances children’s language development at an early age and encourages parents to have an active role in their children’s early development. Began in 2010, the Winnet 8 project aimed to get more women into work and creating new businesses as a means of boosting growth across Europe’s regions. As well as this personalised approach, it also set out to shape regional, national and EU-level policies that relate to women’s status in the labour market and ensure these approaches are integrated into mainstream policies. 'Taal voor Thuis' (‘Language for home’) is a family literacy initiative currently taking place across The Netherlands. The programme is aimed at parents/ carers with children aged 2 to 12 years old. Unique to this programme in The Netherlands is the combination of training parents in home learning strategies for language and literacy development, alongside developing their own Dutch literacies  and self-sufficiency. All these three aspects are given equal importance in the programme. Language for Home is funded by the Dutch government’s Ministry of Education, Culture and Science.

Discutir os principais resultados de uma investigação acerca da problemática da educação, formação e certificação de adultos é o objectivo fundamental do artigo. Desenvolve-se uma avaliação ex-post dos impactes de cursos de educação e formação de adultos (EFA), acções s@ber+ e processos de reconhecimento, validação e certificação de competências (RVCC), frequentados por adultos activos, entre 2003 e 2005, em entidades formadoras do Vale do Sousa. Os resultados da avaliação de impacte incidem, do lado da procura de emprego, nas esferas profissionais, formativas e pessoais dos adultos, e, do lado da oferta de emprego, sobre os resultados empresariais e a empregabilidade aferidos por parte das organizações empregadoras.

O presente estudo aborda a temática da educação e formação de adultos, nomeadamente, as perspectivas internacionais que surgiram no âmbito deste campo de estudo, bem como as práticas existentes em Portugal. No nosso país, os Centros de Reconhecimento, Validação e Certificação de Competências, actualmente designados por Centros Novas Oportunidades, e o processo de reconhecimento, validação e certificação de Competências (RVCC), enquanto modalidade de educação e formação, assumem um papel de destaque no quadro da aprendizagem ao longo da vida. O modelo analítico pressupõe que o processo de RVCC promove uma maior participação no mercado de trabalho; uma maior participação em iniciativas de educação e formação; uma maior participação na vida social e comunitária; a aquisição e melhoria de conhecimentos, aptidões e competências; o desenvolvimento e enriquecimento pessoal dos sujeitos. Foram realizados dois estudos com adultos certificados pelo Centro de RVCC da Profisousa. O primeiro estudo (N=144), baseado na análise de documentos, dá a conhecer o perfil das pessoas que procuram os Centros de RVCC; o segundo estudo (N=101), de carácter transversal, recorre à técnica do questionário e investiga os efeitos da passagem dos indivíduos por um processo de RVCC. Os resultados revelam uma população com trajectórias associadas a percursos marcados por carências nas dimensões individual, social e comunitária, educativa e formativa, assim como na dimensão laboral. Por outro lado, o processo de RVCC tem mais impactos em termos pessoais do que sociais e laborais e gera uma atitude e comportamentos positivos relativamente à aprendizagem.

Providing training relevant to the local job market is one way in which the Ashfield Skills Centre is boosting employability in a region hit by the demise of the coalmining and hosiery industries. By working alongside employers, the centre proactively seeks to overcome skills shortages through high quality vocational courses.
