Das Handbuch stellt 64 Methoden vor, die die komplexe Dynamik der Beziehung zwischen TrainerInnen und TeilnehmerInnen und des Lehr-Lernprozesses, der mitgebrachten und im Training erworbenen Kompetenzen sichtbar machen und darauf aufbauend die Lern- und Aneignungsprozesse von Wissen, Kompetenzen und Fähigkeiten für die TeilnehmerInnen verbessern sollen.

This book analyses wage differences between permanent and fixed-term contracts across EU countries using data from the European Structure of Earnings Survey. The findings include that after controlling for individual and job characteristics, workers on permanent contracts earn on average about 15% more than workers on fixed-term contracts with similar observable characteristics. The permanent contract wage premium is higher for men, workers at middle age and with middle education, and performing non-elementary occupations.

The Prison Reform Trust and Prisoners Education Trust have worked together to identify more effective ways of using information communication technologies (ICT) in prison, and the benefits that are likely to come from expanding their use. ICT for education, resettlement and family ties can be an important tool in reducing reoffending. This report sets out a vision for what a prison using ICT as an effective tool to improve rehabilitation would look like.

Die voraussichtlich im Mai erscheinende deutschsprachige Kurzfassung des Berichts wird von der Deutschen UNESCO-Kommission und dem Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung herausgegeben.

Grandma Valerie talks about the value of intergenerational learning in this video. There are now 26 Learn with Grandma Groups all over the world promoting intergenerational & elearning. Bringing the generations back together is a key to the creation of a fairer society that cares and values people of all ages. Grandma Valerie just had an idea that we could use ICT as a bridge to reunite the generations. She  put the idea on facebook & kept on talking about it - following her Granny's advice - ' great things are achieved by DOING a little thing Today - Just do it!
