Graduates' employability is a commonly highlighted issue in tertiary education due to today's job market that highly expects the limited vacancies to be filled with competitive and competent graduates. Higher education institutions play a significant role in ensuring and understanding the skills that are needed by the graduates to meet the demand of the professional industry; hence, better job opportunity for the graduates.

Higher education institutions have developed postgraduate work based curricula to incorporate employer perspectives regarding the learning and development needs of the professional workforce. Within these work based curricula there is an assumption that work based projects have some sort of utility and impact for the work place alongside the student’s own professional development.

EPALE Serbia National Support Service issues an electronic magazine tied to thematic focuses on EPALE. The magazine contains a selection of most red blogs on the platform translated into Serbian and other articles relevant to adult education in Serbia and Europe.

In accordance with the EPALE thematic focus in the period from October to December 2019, this issue of magazine is dedecated to the topic of workplace learning.

Globalny Raport UNESCO o Kształceniu i Edukacji Dorosłych (GRALE) daje jasny i wszechstronny obraz stanu kształcenia i edukacji dorosłych (ALE) na całym świecie. Od 2009 roku opublikowano cztery raporty. Właśnie prezentowana jest jego czwarta wersja. Następny GRALE zostanie opublikowany w 2022 roku.

The analysis was prepared for the first workshop within the Erasmus + project "Compare Digital curricula for Health and Social care Education".

 

The aim of the Global Report on Adult Learning and Education (GRALE) is to deepen our knowledge of adult learning and education (ALE) as a key component of lifelong learning across the globe, in order to improve education policies, concepts and practice within the framework of the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

"The Pitch" is a series of e-Manuals published from Erasmus+ funded partnership in adult education "Theatre Pitching for employment" (2018-1-HR01-KA204-047439). It's purpose is to present the pitching method used at international educational workshops of the partnership, and serve to other educators as inspirational guidelines for using pitching (presentation method) in non-formal education, working with marginalised groups, and raising their employability.

Ovim Zakonom utvrđuju se principi organizacije srednjeg stručnog obrazovanja i obuke, institucije, osnovna pitanja nastavnih planova i programa, standardi ocjenjivanja i ispiti, pitanje autonomije škola, osnova upravljanja i finansiranja i druga pitanja od značaja za rad i razvoj srednjeg stručnog obrazovanja i obuke u Bosni i Hercegovini.

„Abordarea refugiaților și non-refugiaților în programe de educație a adulților: O analiză longitudinală asupra schimbărilor preocupărilor publice” reprezintă un articol publicat în European Journal for Research on the Education and Learning of Adults, Vol.9, avându-l ca autor pe Bernd Käpplinger de la Universitatea Justus-Liebig din Giessen, Germania.

Sinds de verklaring van Lissabon in 2000 stimuleert de Europese Commissie de samenwerking tussen lidstaten op het vlak van Onderwijs en Vorming. Momenteel wordt gediscussieerd over hoe de samenwerking er na 2020 moet uitzien. De Vlor suggereert op eigen initiatief een aantal mogelijke vernieuwingen in het programma. 

Małgorzata Karolina Zielińska de la Universitatea din Gdańsk, Poland a publicat un articol cu titlul „Migration and translocal learning: Poles in Reykjavik” în European Journal for Research on the Education and Learning of Adults, volumul 2, 2019 în care analizează învățarea din perspectiva migrației. Autoarea se bazează pe un studiu calitativ realizat pe migranții polonezi de primă generație din Islanda. Cadrul teoretic adoptat este învățarea translocală și învățarea locală - care se alătură perspectivei de învățare socială cu învățarea din cadrul mediului.

Carla Vilhena, Sandra T. Valadas și António Fragoso de la Universitatea din Algarve au publicat un articol cu titlul Educația contează: avantaje și dezavantaje cumulate ale bărbaților portughezi în vârstă în care abordează o analiză a influenței mediului educațional pe tot parcursul vieții asupra diverselor dimensiuni ale vieților bărbaților în vârstă din Portugalia (vârsta peste 60 de ani).
