Pandemia COVID-19 a dus la provocări fără precedent pentru siguranța, sănătatea și educația noastră. Conform statisticilor publicate de UNESCO pe 17 mai, 1,21 miliarde de studenți și elevi nu se mai puteau întoarce la școală, reprezentând 69,3% din populația studenților și elevilor din lume. Comunitatea educațională globală continuă să facă față provocării majore de a oferi experiență educativă interactivă și motivantă în timpul închiderii școlilor și universităților.

Donna Moore is the the Adult Literacy and Numeracy Development Worker at Glasgow Women’s Library. She works with some women who have never learned to read and write – for many reasons: they may have experienced abuse or trauma, or are refugees, or have a learning disability. Other women are going back to college after a long period out of learning, or want to write their own story, or do a crossword, or read a poem. Everything Donna does is learner led.

The Skills Recognition, Validation and Certification process is allowing me to go further than I ever imagined! I have started to realise the importance of lifelong learning much more consciously. She has also been working  for 12 years in Marketing & Communications in both Canada and Europe focusing on the development of soft skills.
