This issue deilivers an overview of the developments in adult education in Slovenia. Currently, the Slovenian adult education area is faced with the crisis situation again. Nevertheless, we carried out the Lifelong Learning Week and the PLA on successful ways to reach educationally deprived groups of adults.
Here are some highlights:
- The Adult Education Colloquim was connected to the PLA event taking place within the EAAL project. It also included representatives of the LLW network and ISIO centres – Slovenian Guidance Centres.
- Many LLW 2020 events were held in virtual environments, including the National opening. Many were recorded and will continue to speak to the public for a long time to come.
- The event Developing Competences of Employees for the Development of Slovenia was held on 10 July by SIAE colleagues at the initiative of the social partners and stakeholders. We discussed how to facilitate the development of education for acquiring competences in the form of e-learning as well as the digital competences themselves.
