During this period, when digitalization makes itself felt in all aspects of life, the Ministry of Education has prepared two new guidelines for responding to frequently asked questions from parents. The 'Safe Internet use' and 'cyberbullying' guidelines issued by the Directorate General of Special Education and guidance services as part of the 'Family Education Series' shed light on family participation in the digital world. Minister of National Education said that "in the content of the guidelines, they present the brief and practical suggestions about what to do, how to act and what measures to take through videos that can be reached through the QR codes to parents.
In order to guide children, the guide includes suggestions to parents such as "Be Informed, be relevant, create common areas, take safety precautions, act consciously, be your child's screen.
Both guides includes videos that can be reached through QR codes to answer questions such as " my child never leaves the phone out of his hands. How do I limit phone use?", "How does excessive internet use affect my child's development?"."
