Turkish Traditional handcrafted Art: Kazaziye
Kazaziye is an endangered and traditional handcrafted art form that has been around for nearly five thousand years. It has a rooted history with Turkish culture. Usually, Kazaziye is crafted with either 1000 sterling silver or 24K gold.
The techniques used in Kazaziye are known as "TURKISH HEAD KNOT" in international literature. In the Ottoman Empire times, Kazaziye was called "Palace Art" and used for decorating the clothing of the Sultans. Nowadays, people pay attention to Kazaziye in modern jewelry.
