"Wales’s first health and social care workforce strategy consultation"
"Your chance to contribute to Wales’s first health and social care workforce strategy" - why is this important, because the Adult Learning Sector in Wales holds lived experience and a firm part of the solution moving forward.
From my perspective the Adult Learners, Families and the communities in which we support have the opportunity to work in the Health & Social Care settings, as volunteers and employees - the lived experience alone is vital, the skills and ability I see within Adult Learners is perfect for this sector and they are sort by 20,000 staff in Wales alone and have a retain and recruitment strategy building towards the solution.
As professionals you can make a huge difference by completing the attached, I have done this with a few Adults Learners also - it was a valuable session on reflection and communication skills....
I wonder if across the EU this is the same, and if the Adult Learning Sector can contribute? Do any of you have any information that might help explore this?
